After buying the same essential oil from all of the above companies I've found that every company has a slightly different color.
Warning: THE PALER THE OIL IS COMPARED TO FIRST PRESSING, THE HIGHER TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE THE OIL WAS PROCESSED AT.
The first pressing is always going to be a richer color than the a 2nd pressing. The stage 2 oils are in the most valuable but it can only be captured by higher pressure. The Stage 1 oil is the oil that is in the tubules. Stage 2 oil is the oil that actually makes up the tubules themselves.
Many companies press the oil during the first pressing at low heat/low temperatures so they don't damage the oils. The 2nd pressing is what they usually do to get these stage 2 oils which require way more pressure.
If someone tells me that their oil is only first pressed and I look at the color of it and compare it to an oil that used high pressure/heat, I know when they are trying to just tell me what I want to hear. (aka, lieing).
You really can't tell the differece just by going by colors alone. Chamomile, for example, can be pale green or very pale green from different batches. No too oils from different batches are the exact same color. I've ound that the wild crafted oils are usually not as pale as the organic farm raised oils that were not grown in its indiginous area.
When you get to the most expensive oils, like neroli, the darker colors on some types of oils are better while the lighter is better on some. Like neroli I've found the just the opposite color the more therapeutic.
