The best way to tell the potency of an essential oil I've found is a step further than just having an infused sticker on the bottle although thats a game changer too. Many people have poor body ecology that is noticeable when they compare oils. They can't distinguish by smell the oils.
When lasering the oils what takes several minutes with just the sticker takes only seconds with the laser. Red and violet are the best lasers I use. Depending on how you want to use the oil, using one laser color has a wider range to carry more signals but not as deep while the other color has a different wavelength so it holds less of the frequencies in its carrier wave but delivers them deeper. Many people prefer the violet because it has the widest range.
I can take an oil that is diluted at 1 drop essential oil to 100 drops carrier oil. Infusing this diluted oil will make the oil seem it was less diluted.
I can also use a brix meter to test the oils without a laser. This can show how the light passes through the oil though like a prism. If I have 100% pure lavender oil for example, and I know how that oil looks, and another lavender refracts light totally different, then I know I have to investigate the oil now and find out what made it different. I might not know exactly but I can at least tell if its diluted or it at least had some filler added to it. Essential oil thats 100% uncut and not diluted should pass light through the brix meter as the control lavender. By this I mean distilled only one time so I can use it as the reference. Brix meters can be found on Ebay for around 30 bucks for one that is simple enough to do these testes on.
